Love for 17-year-old Alexa

On Sunday, March 3, 2019, Alexa was skiing with her family and was in a serious ski accident.  Unfortunately, Alexa suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and her life is forever changed. Alexa has been unconscious since the accident but is in stable condition at CHEO, and we are encouraged by the small signs of improvement she is showing.

Alexa is a vibrant young lady with warm brown eyes and a smile that lights up the room. Beautiful on the inside and out, she is friendly and kind, always thinking the best of people. Alexa loves to sing and play guitar, bringing much joy to her family and friends. In her last semester of high school, 17-year-old Alexa was looking forward to attending university in the fall.

Alexa has a long recovery ahead of her.  All funds that are raised will go directly to Alexa's parents to support Alexa's rehabilitation and help offset the expenses that will continue to accumulate while they remain at her side in the days, weeks and months ahead.

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support!

Gratefully yours,

Alexa's family
