Help Solve A Mystery

As the story goes...

Somewhere in the Rocky Mountains there is a bronze treasure chest full of gold coins, gold nuggets(some weighing more than a pound each), golden trinkets, jewels, and other treasure worth millions, just waiting to be found!

Some say the treasure is a hoax.  I'm skeptical myself, since nearly every page I visit that talks about the treasure and the guy who hid it is chocked full of links to the bookstore that sells his books.

Supposedly, this treasure was hidden  by a millionaire treasure hunter/art collector who wishes to remain anonymous, so I'll just refer him as F.   F. is supossedly, a real life Indiana Jones who's spent his life hunting and collecting art, treasure, and rare artifacts.

When he was(supposedly) diagnosed with cancer in 1988, he decided he wanted to leave a part of his life behind for others to share, so he put together a chest filled with items that had special meaning to him, items he had collected in his years of travel and adventure, then hid it somewhere in the Rocky Mountains, as his way of sharing his life long love of treasure hunting adventures with everyone else, and as a way to get people off the couch and away from their cell phones and video games,  and out exploring.

Fortunately he recovered from his supposed illness,  yet his treasure, supposedly, remains hidden, waiting for someone to find it.

The man who supposedly hid this treasure was very generous in doing so, and has expressed an interest in buying back one item from the chest that has special meaning to him. IF I find the chest, he will get the item back free of charge, just kidding, he's not getting it back.  Sorry F., IF the treasure is out there and IF I find it the bracelet is going to one of my supporters, which one will be up to me to decide.

Did you know that there around 150 people that go missing in the Rocky Mountains each year.  About 50% of them are children, and according Rangers most of the children who go missing are found dead.

So far there's been one man gone missing(found dead 6 months later) while searching for F.'s supposed treasure.  Randy Bilyeu's body was found 6 months after being repported missing by his exwife.  When she asked F. if he would tell her the area the treasure was in, so they could find Randy, F. supposedly told her "Two people can keep a secret if one of them is dead"; a saying that F.F. supposedly like to use.

I can't say for sure if any of this is true, nor can I say any of it is false.  Sometimes I wish I were a fly, that way I could listen in on things that I couldn't otherwise.

Anyway....

The goal is $7500.   We can easily reach that goal if 300 people donate as little as $25.

There is no limit to how much you can donate; however, there is a minimum donation of $5 that is set by GoFundMe.

1 person can donate $7500 or 1500 people can donate $5  Most people throw away more than that on the lottery.

I wanted to visit the Rockies in August, but my schedule wouldn't allow it, so I'm pushing my plans foward to sometime next summer, unless a window of opportunity arises sooner.

Can I count on you for your support?

Funds from this GoFundMe campaign will be used to secure necessary gear equipment, emergency radios, locator beacon, camping gear, bear spray, snake proof leggings, travel expenses, food and lodging, maps, licenses and the like.  I hear it's pretty expensive out there, expecially since there's so many people out looking for this supposed treasure that F.F. supposedly hid.

Below is a poem/riddle, it's a sort of word map that supposedly contains 9 clues that, IF interpreted correctly, will lead directly to the supposed treasure.     If you think you've solved any part of the riddle you can share it in the comments below.

As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.

Begin it where warm waters halt
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown.

From there it’s no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh;
There’ll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.

If you’ve been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace.

So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak.

So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold.

Please share this everywhere.
