Help Fat Albert walk again.

On February 14 Th our beloved senior colony cat named Fat Albert was run down by a truck as he was coming to eat at the colony. Thank goodness I was nearby and witnessed the horrible accident. I scooped him up and raced him to the emergency clinic . He was covered in blood and his breathing was very raspy. They took him in the back to give him pain meds , take x-rays and do a sonogram to find out what injuries he sustained. He had a broken front arm and a very bruised bladder. They kept him overnight to stabilize him and get him ready for surgery in the morning. Overnight hey started to Pee blood so a catheter was inserted into him to assure no blood clots would form. On the morning of February 15 they put a titanium plate in his broken front arm. Fat Albert wasn’t able to come Home till the evening of the 16th. He was put on a fentinel patch which continually releases pain medication to him. He will be monitored to see the extent of brain trauma to him. Fat Albert is a beloved cat and we appreciate any help with his vet bill to help him walk again. This was not his fault and he deserves to be properly cared for.
