Help Family of 3 Who Tragically Lost Their Father

Zabiullah Rahmani arrived in San Diego in 2014 and on Sunday, August 4, 2019, Zabi's life suddenly came to an end during a beach accident in which Zabi's lifeless body drifted onto the sand at Imperial Beach.
He worked as an interpreter for American and Afghan forces supporting OEF for many years in Afghanistan. He was granted a SIV ( Special Immigrant Visa ) to come to America with his wife and 2 daughters because his families lives were in danger. He received multiple death threats to his life and survived multiple encounters. His family has gone through so much hardship to face this shocking tragedy. Upon arrival he worked several jobs to make ends meet to support his daughters and wife. He was the breadwinner and the family relied on him. Unfortunately, his wife does not speak English making it extremely difficult to find work and pay for basic necessities like housing, food and clothing for her children. She and Zabi left both of their families behind.
We are shocked by his tragic loss. Those who knew Zabi, knew that he was a kind, loving, husband and father that would go to great depths for his family.
