Help EmPOWERed get 501c 3 Status!

One year ago, three, female students who were also campus carry advocates, sat down with Ginny Simone of the NRA and talked about their activism. Those three women decided after that video that it was time to show the pro campus carry voice for women on college campuses. So Antonia Okafor, former Southwest Regional Director of Students for Concealed Carry, Joanna Rodriguez of Turning Point USA and Lydia Longoria, a recent graduate of Texas Christian University decided to start, EmPOWERed.

EmPOWERed seeks to unite women on college campuses who support owning and carrying firearms for self-defense purposes. It provides a community of women on campus to encourage and inspire one another to seek part of their empowerment from regular self-defense training-with and without a firearm.

Our first chapter will be at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. But in order for the EmPOWERed movement to go from an online revolution to a student organization, we need to become a non-profit first.

Please consider donating to our effort to become a 501c3 organization by the Fall of 2017. We are raising $1000 to go towards hiring a lawyer to take care of all the legal work so that we become a tax exempt organization the right way. And so that our online movement can become a student organization for women in college starting this September.

Help us get to $1000 before the end of March 2017. Thank you so much for your consideration.
