Help Duckworth

Hi everyone,
This sweet boy padded up to me on the street today. No tags on his collar, matted and overgrown fur, a bad eye, and rotting teeth. He appeared as if he had been lost or neglected for a long time. He easily let me pick him up and take him to the vet, where we learned that he is around 10-12 years old, and has a microchip attached to an outdated number. We can and have given him his vaccinations, food, a bath and a place to stay, but he will also require at least an eye removal (the vet said his eye looks very painful) as well as extensive dental work. We simply don't have the money to pay. The other option is to leave him to a shelter, where we fear he would be euthanized due to his age and medical condition.
If you are able, we are asking for donations to help make the newly dubbed Duckworth's remaining years happy and pain free. It's the least we can do for this gentle boy who has been through so much. 100% will go to vet bills.
