Help The Sentient Temple Heal

Tax deductible
The Sentient Temple was founded by Dr. Rev Dennis Alexander as a non-profit holistic healing and teaching center. Along with co-director, Dr. Rev Terri Dluhy, the Healing Center uses natural and energetic healing methods to treat diseases that western medicine can only treat with drugs, surgery, or radiation. Using energetic modalities, and natural remedies such as nutritional supplements, the Healing Center successfully treats conditions which western medicine finds resistant or ambiguous. Dr. Alexander founded the Sentient Temple College of Alternative Medicine and the National College of Medical Qigong to disseminate this knowledge to other healers.

On April 15th, Dr. Alexander was attacked and beaten breaking his nose and other facial bones as two masked intruders entered the center and stole items, church cash and trampled sacred space. This campaign, and what you read below, is a start of the healing to allow patients to be treated, and the beauty of energy exchange to continue. On May 11th, the following happened: carrying cards, banners, and signs, students from Washburn Academy in Clearwater marched up the steps of the Sentient Temple in St. Petersburg. The students brought cards, banners, and signs. They created a lovely song and sang it to him in support of what he does for the community. The students were informed of the attack by their teacher, Soji Jacobs. They were moved and wanted to do something. As word spread throughout the school, more students wanted to be involved and eventually, more than fifty children came to show their support. Dr. Alexander was moved to tears as he watched students chant words of support. Their message: "do not harm a person of good will".

"I was touched because he started crying when he saw us, and it made me happy because that's why I came here," said Katie Friend, a student. "It was to make him feel better and to show our support." As Dr. Alexander continues to recover, he will gain strength from the students who came to his door.
