Help Des fight

Hi, this is Lorraine, Des' mom and I will be managing her gofundme account for all purposes, to include her funding, as requested by her. We appreciate all the prayers, comments, positive thoughts and valuable information being offered. Here is her story......  I was living  my  best life, attending my last year of college and participating in an internship as an assistant park ranger when I received unexpected and devastating news.  At the young age of 21 I was told I had an aggressive form of cervical cancer.  Not only is it a rare form, but the aggressiveness and advancement of it is extremely rare. By the time the doctors conducted numerous tests, they determined it was stage 3, meaning it's too late to operate.    I have a long road ahead of me, at least 4 months of treatment 5 days a week, M-F. This whole process is taking much longer than anticipated. On top of it all, because I am already  21, I am only covered under my dad's medical insurance as a full-time student which is not possible at the moment. I have to put school and work on pause to be with family during my treatment, making it difficult to cover any expenditures.  As of now, we are hoping my insurance will be extended long enough to cover treatment; however, we aren't certain. With daily treatment 5 days a week I need someone to transport me to appointments as well as a caretaker, requiring my mother to stop working as well.  If you know me then you know I don't like to ask for help, but I cannot do this alone, I need to be honest with myself and my needs. The funds raised will go towards alternative, additional treatments such as acupuncture, herbology doctor, transportation, hotel fees during 2nd stage of treatment, additional fees not covered by insurance and minimum amount of monthly income needed for the next 4 months for my mom and I.  This is the amount estimated for now, could be less, could be more but it's a start and anything is greatly appreciated.
