Help Dean's family through his stroke recovery
On Saturday 7th December, 2019, Dean Newton suffered a stroke. He currently remains in hospital and is unwell and unable to see visitors at this time.
Dean Newton is an incredibly caring, compassionate, generous father, husband and friend. A heart of gold, he stops at nothing to help out his friends, family and colleagues.
Because Dean is a casual employee, he receives no sick leave or other entitlements during this time of ill health. Due to extraneous circumstances my mother, Judy Mckenzie, is currently only working part-time and receives no income for time taken off work. This means she cannot take time off to rest and be with family during this difficult time as this will leave my family with no income and two children to provide for.
My parents are two of the most generous, kind-hearted people on the planet. Anyone who knows them knows they stop at nothing to make family and friends feel welcome and loved in their home. I implore you to please consider donating to help my family. I feel helpless as I am trapped on the mainland in Victoria at the present time. We have little to no savings and my mother simply cannot afford to take unpaid time away from work without external support.
Had I the choice, I would never make such a request of my friends and family. Anyone who knows Dean knows he goes out of his way to help anyone and never asks for anything in return. We are truly desperate and grateful for every dollar any of our loved ones can spare.
