Help a life-saving operation for a special pup
Please help us afford a life-saving operation for a very special dog
Darla June is a two year old rescue dog from South Carolina (US). She was rescued by All Breed Rescue in Vermont - a compassionate, non-profit rescue dedicated to saving highly adoptable dogs from high kill shelters and placing them in loving homes in the Northeast. She was adopted the day she arrived and then moved to Montreal, where she has been living since.
Darla is an extremely affectionate, goofy and high-energy pup, with way too much love to contain in her tiny body. She is extremely sensitive and has been the best therapy dog to so many people in the past year living in Montreal.
It is currently spring in Montreal, the infamous time of the year when snow melts and the city is full of garbage. A few days ago, without anyone noticing, Darla ingested something containing broken pieces of glass. She has been extremely sick ever since. Her loving family is broken-hearted and needs more support to get her the surgery she needs.
The family has already invested $800 on veterinary bills for medication and x-rays, but now surgery is the only thing that can save Darla's life. The cost for surgery is $2400 CAD and Darla's family need all the support they can get to save her. Please donate and share if you can.
Darla received care from Docteur Yves Cloutier at Hôpital Vétérinaire du Parc, 5271 Av du Parc, Montréal, QC, H2V 4G9, (514) 303-8387, file name under "Darla".
