After being credentialed for my first Sundance Film Festival, I'm starting to make my travel plans for the Tribeca Film Festival in April
The good news is that I have housing secured. The bad news is that finances are a bit on the tight side when it comes to covering the flight. I'm not writing for an outlet that is able to cover travel expenses so that's where your financial help comes in hand.
I'm one of the handful of transgender film critics in existence and when it comes for the push for diversity in film criticism, this is where the perspective of someone such as myself is rather unique. I'm on the Tomatometer and my reviews will be posted there as soon as they go up (unless a capsule review has been requested).
Unlike SXSW, I'm planning early enough to where flights are manageable with being under $100 each way and I'm also taking into account the subway pass upon arrival.
