Help Daniel through this tough time

The most unexpected event happened to man I love dearly. My partner Daniel severed his fingers on his right hand just doing something he enjoys, cooking for the people he loves. We didn't expect to visit the emergency room, let alone for Daniel to need surgery to repair the damagrd tendons and nerves in all fingers. After a long wait in the ER and transfer to another hospital for the surgery, the inital shock wore off. We are now left with the realisation that he can no longer work. How will we afford to survive for the 12+ weeks he will be unable to work as a carpenter?

He is already going through so much with his Dad passing away recently from complications of diabetes. Daniel was devastated that he was unable to afford to attend the funeral in Colombia. He then made the decision to work and save up to provide for his Mum and organise his Dad's artwork to preserve his legacy.

We are a young couple just starting out, trying to make ends meet while I'm studying full time. However, Daniel is the main income earner and the reality is that my income is not enough for our living expsenses, let alone to save for his travel and pay for any further treatment.

Everyone close to him knows he is the most genuine kind hearted person who always gives freely without expecting anything in return. All I wish is to be able to support him during this time the same way he has always unconditionally supported me. I would love for him to be able to focus on his emotional and physical recovery.
