Help Connie's family after a devastating tragedy

Donation protected
Our wonderful, loving Connie received one of the worst phone calls on Friday night with terrible news about her family back in the Philippines.

Her brother, sister, mother and nephew were in a motorcycle accident.
Her 8 year old nephew who just celebrated his birthday was thrown from the bike after impact and has tragically passed away.  Her sister is suffering from a  major head injury, her mother is in the ICU, still unconscious, and her brother just had to undergo a leg amputation, and the other leg  has multiple fractures.

For those of you who do not know, Connie is a single mom, raising her 15 year old son in Canada, with no other family here. She works hard as an early childhood educator, and she sends money back to the Philippines every chance she gets to help her family out.

Her family is in even more dire need for funds to pay for all of their medical bills and  for her nephew's funeral. They do not have medical insurance. Connie is counting all of her pennies to try and help them. At first I thought we should raise money to buy Connie and her son a plane ticket so she could go back home and take care of her family but she kindly turned that down saying that money for the medical bills is more important.  "My family needs money more than they need me being there". -Connie
This is Connie right here as a person, she  is selflessly thinking of her family's needs instead of her own.

Connie's brother's name is Mariano, he works hard as a carpenter. Her mother Aurelia and her sister Vicky stay at home to take care of the family home. Her sweet nephew Kiefer Carl was an active happy 8 year old boy who was in grade 2.

 *The accident, what happened:*
The family of four were travelling on a small highway on their tricycle.  Mariano and Kiefer Carl were on the bike, with Vicky and Aurelia in the basket. A man who was driving a car, going the opposite direction fell asleep at the wheel and hit them head on.

Please help Connie and her family with a  generous donation. This will help with surmountable medical costs and the burden of going through this terrible tragedy.

Thank you so much for your kind generosity. Connie and her family will forever be grateful.

For those wondering  who I am,  my name is Alicia Catel. I am Connie's co worker at the daycare in Montreal, QC. I have been Connie's classroom partner since 2012. She is now my son's teacher. Please help me help Connie's family. Every donation will make a huge difference.

Gofundme has put this account on hold, donations are still accepted but I can't withdrawal funds until I make the details in this story more transparent. This is to make sure this isn't fraud so I am putting down all the info they asked of me right here:

Who you are: Alicia catel, I am a teacher, a mom and a wife. I am Connie's colleague at the daycare that she works at in Montreal Quebec. I am also an educator

Where you're from: I am born and raised in Montreal Quebec Canada.

Your relationship to the parties you're raising funds for: I am Connie's colleague at the daycare that she works at in Montreal Quebec. I am also an educator

How the funds will be used (be specific as possible): to pay for the medical bills for Connie's mother, brother and sister in the Phillipines. They do not have medical insurance. It will also help pay for her nephews funeral. Connie will send the money to them once she has it all.

If you intend to withdraw the money, how you plan to send the funds to the parties you're raising money for or use the money on their behalf: I will be withdrawing the money myself, directly into my bank account and will then write connie a check and give it to her. I will post a picture of Connie holding the check once it's given to her. I am doing it with way since the process of adding Connie as a beneficiary to withdraw the funds was complicated, therefore withdrawing myself was the easiest way to do it.
