VLORA Short Film

SYNOPSIS:
In order to teach her children about independence, Vlora who works from home, has to take a job that requires her to leave the house. 

FROM THE DIRECTOR:
Hi, my name is Erblin Nushi, and I am the writer & director of the short film VLORA. This story takes place in 2002, post war Kosovo. It's a film about motherhood and the sacrifices they make to raise their families. Vlora is presented with a great work opportunity that requires her to leave the house, but because culturally men used to be the workers in the family, she realizes that in order to be a role model to her children and especially her daughters, she must break away from the traditional ways of life that she grew up with. I was super lucky to film in Kosovo with an incredible crew and have a very talented cast whose performances were amazing. To complete this project so that I'm able to share this story with the world, the film still needs post production work that sadly costs money. I really hope that this story resonates with you and with your help I can put this film out in festivals and together we can inspire women around the world.

In order for us to make the festival deadlines so that VLORA can be seen around the world, we need this funding ASAP!
