For the first time EVER, a Columbia competitive cheerleading team will compete at The D2 Summit Championship at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Who would believe, that team is US!?!?! Did you realize what I just said (sometimes we have to repeat it to ourselves), "NO OTHER cheer team from Columbia, MO has EVER received this award"!!!
Our Central Missouri All Stars competitive cheerleading team "Youth Level 1 INTENSITY" will compete against competitive cheer's best teams from around the world!
We're just a small gym, from a small town in Missouri and now we're fighting for the most prestigious award that you can ever receive in this sport. Not only is the D2 Summit the highest-level of achievement possible, it's also by invitation-only.
Here are some fun facts about our incredible team:
- We have (2) 5 yr olds on our team and the oldest team member is 11
-5 of us are 1st year All Star athletes
-We are highly motivated by cupcakes and slime
-Everything works better if we're covered in glitter
-Our attention spans are about 15 minutes so it's like starting a new practice every 15 minutes - our coaches don't always love this. We aren't sure why.
Our girls did the work on the floor to get that invitation and now we're looking for just a little help with fundraising to get us there!
For these girls, this trip would be a dream come true. As parents, we know this is a once in a lifetime experience that our girls aren't even capable of understanding, yet. To help us, would be a gift greater than you can imagine.
Will you help? Any amount puts us that much closer to attaining our dream! All proceeds go towards paying our entry and travel expenses.
