Dear loved ones, family & friends. Our incredible great grandmother, grandmother, mother and friend, Christine Rau desperately needs your help!
This 65 year old rock of the family sustained a traumatic fall on April 13th, 2019. She fractured her left wrist, compound fractured her right arm and shattered her right wrist while attending her grandsons little league baseball game. To make matters worse, this loyal devoted employee lost her job of 29 years when the business she worked for closed at the end of March. She has no income; she has no insurance, and now is completely helpless with both arms in casts for the next 3-4 months before she starts rehabilitation.
Chris, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother is in for a long and painful recovery. With no income & no insurance at no fault of her own, our family has made the hard and difficult choice to ask our friends and family for help. Chris is a very proud woman and wouldn't ask for help on her own, but we feel if we can lessen her stress about the tremendous medical bills that are already stacking up, she can focus on her months of rehab and the potential of multiple surgeries ahead of her.
Everyone who knows Chris, this will come as no surprise. For those that don't know, let me tell you a few things about this amazing woman. Christine lives for her family and has always been very giving. She has always put the needs of her family, friends, and loved ones first, almost to a fault. Christine has taken the lead of caring for her 93 year old father. She visit's him daily and helps him around the house on a daily basis. She is a single mother of two children whom she has molded into wonderful people. She has spent countless days, nights and weekends caring for her lovely grandchildren, which is her true passion in life these days.
Any donations received will go directly towards her medical bills. Please feel free to share with your friends and family. Chris has always been the type to help anyone in need, and put others needs ahead of her own. Even though it’s not how she had ever imagined, Christine is celebrating her 66th birthday later this week. Please help this wonderful woman in her time of need.
