Help Chinea get to Jamaica for father's funeral

Chinea Lowe is one of my best, closest friends and I love her dearly. Recently she spent her fall semester of college at Miami University (OH) as a senior, studying abroad in England in a city called Lancaster. Chinea had a close and special relationship with her father, who lived in Jamaica while Chinea finished her undergrad studies in the US. Unfortunately, her father recently passed away. Chinea is currently working and doing her best to save up money for her plane ticket to Jamaica to attend her father’s funeral when the time does come. However, she’s struggling, like most college students, to pay for the next semester of school.

Chinea is one of the absolute greatest people I know, and she has always been there for the ones that she loves in any capacity she is able to. I started this GoFundMe to help not only with the financial problems, but to relieve some of her stress about how she can make it to Jamaica for her father’s funeral so she can focus on what’s important: having time to mourn the loss of her dad and cope with everything that’s going on right now.

Any donations given will benefit Chinea Lowe to help her 1) buy a round-trip ticket to Jamaica to lay her father to rest, and 2) start a foundation for the tuition bill for school.

The sooner we are able to raise these funds for Chinea the better, preferably before the end of January 2019. Every donation (no matter how big or how small) is extremely appreciated. I know it would mean a lot to Chinea and her family, and to her friends who want to help her in any way that we can.
