Chance is 16 years old and extremely smart. I am not sure where he gets it from but it isn't his parents. He has been riding with the top three in his graduating class of 2020. His desires run deep in Neurological Pathology. His dream is to make it to John Hopkins University. This just makes us so proud! We are a modest income family and do not have the extra funds to send him to the 2 trips he is invited to. Please help me help my son fulfill his dreams! This would be an awesome opportunity to further his medical dream! A gift that I would love for him to have!
First trip is with HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America)
They would be going to New York and Boston - MIT tour and workshop, biotechnology tour and other educational workshops. This is a 6 day trip. All expense included $2695. (inc. airfare)
Second Trip ; An invitation from 'National Academy of Future Physicians'!! This is a 3 day work shop which is including his dream school, John Hopkins University! He is nominated for his academic excellence as a delegate representing the State of Texas! This trip does not include lodging and airfare. Estimated expense is $3000
Leaves $805 for insurance and pocket money.
I currently work in the elementary school for the past 11 years as paraprofessional for PPCD (Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities) The pay is LOW but the job is rewarding! I have never done anything like this but will do anything to help my son reach his stars! Please help me make his dreams come true!
We are also doing fund raisers here at school and in town but being in an economically disadvantage town, not really raising as much as we hoped!
