Help Carmen become a teacher!
Donation protected
Carmen Centeno is a 2009 graduate of Northwood HS in Silver Spring, and she is one of the most remarkable people I've had the privilege to call a friend.
Carmen went to Montgomery College, and for the past several years she has worked as a youth development specialist with ESOL students at Northwood. She has helped hundreds of ESOL students navigate their personal and school lives, apply to college, and find their footing here in the US.
Last week week Carmen announced to dozens of crying students that she is leaving Northwood to go back to school full time to become a teacher. There is no one MCPS needs more than Carmen Centeno!
As a goodbye present for her incredible service to students in our community, please consider chipping in a small donation to help Carmen get into a classroom as an educator!
