Help Carissa Fight Cancer

As you may know my best friend Carissa Lewis (Galligan) was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Over the last two weeks since she has found out, every day has brought new findings and challenges that has led to one heck of an emotional roller coaster for her and her family. Carissa has a long journey ahead. I know that during this time and over the next 12 months, Carissa and her family will endure a lot of costs related to testing, treatments, surgeries, etc.

Whenever we go through struggles in life it is hard to ask for help. As her friends and family, let’s step up and lend a hand where we can. It could be making them a meal, it could be helping out with Everly, or if you can, please consider donating anything to help ease their financial stress. Most importantly, let’s pray for Carissa and her family. They need love and support from all of us.

To Carissa: For 18 years we have been friends. You have always had a big heart and always put others before yourself. I can’t imagine doing life without you. You are so strong and are gonna kick this thing in the ass! Always remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and loved more than you know.
