New Covenant School (Nursery, Primary and Junior High) is a low-cost christian private school located in The Gambia. We have two campuses (Serekunda and Fajikunda) and have roughly 750 students and 55 staff.
Our school is dedicated to providing quality education to children from low-income families.
Since founded in 1997 till now, our school has been able to educate over 400 children who otherwise would not have been able to afford private school education.
In 2016, our school had the best results in the nation for the Grade 9 Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examination and we continue to lead with good examination results and compete with Gambia's top schools.
Unfortunately, a growing number of our students have not been able to pay tuition fees in full and on time and as a result we are grappling with our finances.
We are currently renting two campus buildings which is NOT cost effective and a great financial liability.
Our current campuses lack the right structure for a school building, therefore we do not have playgrounds, sports grounds, staff rooms or cafeterias.
We need your help to purchase land to build our own campus with the appropriate structure to accommodate our 750 students.
We need $10,000 in addition to what we have been able to raise to buy land in the Serekunda area before September 2018.
Your support will help us continue to provide quality education to these precious children.
