BROKEN PENNY NEEDS IMMEDIATE RESCUE! Poor little Penny’s pelvis is broken on both sides and her hip is out of socket which will require at least 6 weeks cage rest before FHO (hip) surgery. This sweet little tulip flower came to Animal Care injured on December 13. She is SUPER sweet and was found inside a citizen’s backyard. We suspect she was hit by a car and ran into the yard through an opening in the fence as she has scratches all over her body and what appears to be road rash. This poor little girl was obviously in shock and dashed into the person’s yard for safety. She is approximately 2 years old and weighs 40 lbs.
