Help Brock’s Medical Move! URGENT!!

Hello All. I am raising money for my friend Brock Sumpter. Brock is one of the oldest living people with Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) with Pyloric Atresia.   A very rare skin condition. Infants born with this illness are often referred to as “butterfly children” due to the fragility of their skin. Unfortunately there is currently no cure. Brock needs to move closer to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama from Fort Payne, Alabama for continued medical care, likely dialysis in the near future and participate in research studies.  He was recently in UAB in January and again in April.  Due to Brocks condition he cannot work. He gets a very small monthly disability that just doesn’t allow for a move, deposits or a Uhaul. Brock’s vehicle needed so many repairs that he had to scrap it. So he has to rely on the kindness of friends for transportation. The money raised would allow him to get reliable transportation for his medical care and allow for him to move into a apartment close to UAB Hospital where specialist familiar with his rare condition are available. Brock wishes to help with research and studies so future infants with EB may benefit from his case studies. This is a very painful condition and the studies, biopsies and grafts are sure to be unpleasant and painful as well. Still, Brock wants to help as much as he can and hopes that one day they will discover a cure.
