Help Bring Parkour to CNY
Hello, Friends of Fusion!
Syracuse and Central New York have been clamoring for a place to learn parkour, free running, and obstacle course training. We are thrilled to announce that after 5 long years of work, we finally have our facility!
We have considered many offers. Some would have been inexpensive but would give us a location that would give us concern for the safety of our students and their guests, and that simply wouldn't do.
We are pleased to announce that Fusion Parkour, a school devoted to teaching students how to overcome obstacles, both physical and mental, will plant its roots in a safe neighborhood, with ample, well-lit parking, and easy access to major highways and shopping.
We are now located at 7687 Frontage Road in Cicero, NY, situated between Champions Fitness and Get Air Trampoline Park.
Admittedly, we are spending more than we originally intended for this facility but the value of our students' safety and comfort can not be understated.
And so, we need your help!
Though to learn parkour, one needs only a few basic obstacles and...the right instructors...and we will certainly have both on Day 1. But for those eager to pursue their ninja training, and for the long-term goals of helping our students conquer all manner of challenges, the obstacles in our facility need to be so much more!
So we are asking for donations to help increase the quantity, quality, and complexity of the obstacles we are building within our school. The more we have, the quicker we can help students advance. The more variety we have, the better we can reach students who excel or struggle in different areas.
Why give to Fusion Parkour?
It's true that any small business can benefit from financial support from its community. But what sets us apart from others is what that money will be used for. Rather than just helping to keep the lights on or the insurance premiums paid, your donations will have a greater impact on our students, and a much more direct one.
Every dollar you give certainly helps a local business get off the ground (pun ABSOLUTELY intended!) but it also enables us to remove limitations on our teaching. It helps us reach more students in different ways and success in parkour has a direct correlation to success in life.
We aren't just teaching students to jump and climb and swing. We're teaching them to believe in themselves, to learn how to problem-solve, and to strive to achieve new goals that never seemed within reach before.
What happens if we surpass our fundraising goal?
The obvious answer is, that would be terrific! More specifically, our goal is to create an amazing facility for our students and our initial fundraising goal is set with the intention to bring in a couple of the more costly obstacles that will allow for even better instruction and training opportunities. If we achieve that funding and more, then we are able to look toward bringing in even greater constructs that might have needed to wait until much further down the road.
In other words, the more we raise, the faster we grow our facility into an elite school with the potential to elevate our students to even greater heights than ever before. And each and every one of you can be a part of that success!
