Help Bring Monica Sykes Home

This campaign has been created to assist my friends Leonard and Regina Sykes and their family in finding their daughter Monica.  Monica has been missing since Oct. 28 2016.  Monica has not been seen or heard from by her family or friends which is uncharacteristic of her because she never goes a day without talking to her sister, mother or grandmother.

The money raised through this campaign will be used for reward money for information about Monica's whereabouts.

This campaign will continue to collect funds for the family until it is closed, so please give beyond the goal if it is reached. Time is key in missing persons cases so I would hope to have money raised for Monica's search as soon as possible.  

The Sykes family are are truly beside themselves with Monica missing.   Following is a statement from Monica’s mother Regina Sykes.

This means a great deal to me and many others, because of our love for the Sykes family. They are a loving, hardworking, and caring family. Family is the most important thing to them. They are always willing to extend themselves for others and have. They are truly beside themselves with Monica missing. I am including some statements from the family below.

"Today I ask for the strength to keep pushing to keep going to find my daughter. There are moments that I find myself paralyzed and don't know what direction to move. I know I must be that rock for my family especially Dana and her boys. This is wearing on my husband and sons. It's wearing on my parents, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. Anyone that knows our family know how close we are and when one is missing and we don't know where they are it's difficult to function. I believe and trust in God I always have even before this nightmare, however I feel like I need to do more than pray, I feel the need to take some type of action."- Regina Sykes

"Our family and the Berkeley PD are following every possible lead without success. Our family continues to be amazed at the outpouring of support that we have received and hope that you all will continue to keep a lookout for my baby girl. From everything that is me I thank each and every one of you ❤️.  We will find you Itty Bitty"- Leonard Sykes

"This day has been so emotional, I don't know whether I am coming or going. I find myself asking "WHY?" I also find myself blaming myself for this nightmare. "If I would have done xyz, then this wouldn't be happening." And in those moments, I just cry and pray. All of this is happening the way that God intended for it to happen. He knows before any of us. Sister, I miss you so much and I NEED for you to come home. I NEED for you to be alright. I NEED to talk to you. I have all these thoughts and all this stuff to say and I can't do anything but bottle it in because my best friend is not around. Monica Sykes I promise you with everything in me that I won't give up or lose faith. When there is no one else you can turn to, know your sister is here and I'm fighting and we are going find you. I love you sister with EVERYTHING in me!!'- Dana Bailey

Those statements show the anguish this family is going through with Monica missing, that is why this is so important.

Large or small every amount will be one donation closer to the goal of assisting this family with the costs associated with finding Monica. Honestly I don't think there are any words to describe the gratitude from so many people for you taking the time to read this, possibly sharing their story, or donating to assist the Sykes family.
