Help Brenda Burgess Fight Cancer

2017 has started with the heartbreaking news that our beloved and strong Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt Brenda Burgess has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. We've all been struggling with this news, but we are determined to help her fight this on all fronts and we are here to ask you for your help.
As many of you know, Brenda has an enormous love for the natural world and is a huge proponent of conservation and the caring of all life. She is a selfless, strong and determined woman who has been living with lupus for years. Her sacrifices are well known and now it's time for us to help her and her family in their time of need.
This all came on very sudden and family is still trying to make sense of everything. The situation is very urgent as her doctors have suggested that treatments begin this coming week of January 23rd. The treatments will prove to be quite expensive. On top of helping cover the costs of treatment, Brenda's daughter Michelle is needing to take time off at her job to help and her PTO will cover less than half of her allotted time provided by the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993.
