At 5 years old, Bennet went a couple of days suffering from nighttime fevers. After a doctor visit and a blood test, it was confirmed he had Leukemia. A vibrant boy, just days from graduating preschool and starting a summer of swimming and family BBQs, became an incredibly sick kid stuck in a hospital.
Matt, Chrissy and their daughter Avery will now have their life revolving around hospital visits, hand sanitizer and the struggle to keep the day to day life they once knew still afloat.
