Honor Michelle: Help Baby Camila Get Critical Care

In April, we lost our sister/mother/grandmother Michelle to a rare, incurable disease, pulmonary hypertension.


A week later, one of Michelle's five-month-old twin granddaughters was diagnosed with the same condition.




As we grieve the loss of Michelle, we are also taking action.  We've established this GoFundMe account in Michelle's honor to support her son's family in this extremely difficult time. 


● Doctors are doing all they can to help fragile baby Camila who faces a lifetime of medical intervention to manage this disease that compromises the arteries from her heart to her lungs, making breathing difficult.

 

● Dad Michal is at Camila's side 24/7 at UCLA Medical Center.

 

● Mom Mirian is two hours away at home managing Camila's twin sister, Kalani, and 3-year-old Sebastian.

 

● The burden is overwhelming as they manage their family in two locations,  away from their jobs but doing the hardest work there is. 

 

To help keep their family afloat in this storm is going to take all of us, pitching in, how and where we can. 


They need help paying for Camila's life-giving medicine and extensive time in the hospital. 


They need help filling in the gaps that the loss of several months income will mean for the family. It’s a big ask; but if not our community, and friends, who else?
