WHO WE ARE
Hi! We’re Avalon Comics & Games, a small comic and game shop located in Santa Barbara, CA. Each of us has been reading comics and playing games since we were kids, and we really wanted to share our passion with the community in a place where everyone could feel welcome and safe. So we decided to make that dream a reality and opened Avalon.

OUR VISION
Over the last 3 ½ years we have built a welcoming, inclusive space for our diverse community to come share their passion for all things comics and games. We host a variety of events, from weekly game nights to after-hours social events for women and the LGBT community. We've even hosted a DoubleClicks performance (our cover photo), which was amazing (and we’d love to have them back)!
Deadpool came to visit us on Free Comic Book Day this year, which is basically comic book Christmas.


WHAT WE'RE RAISING MONEY FOR
We love and truly believe in what we have built here and in order to better serve the needs of our customers, we are looking to make a major expansion. To do so, we are hoping to raise some additional funds to grow our inventory, pick up some additional fixtures and equipment, and help cover move costs to a new, larger space.
In particular, we are looking to expand our selection of:
Comics and Graphic Novels, especially Indie titles
Board Games
Tabletop Roleplaying Games (DnD, Pathfinder, Shadowrun, etc.)
Game Accessories (DnD & Pathfinder minis, dice sets, card game supplies, etc.)
Kickstarter Comics, Graphic Novels, Games, and Tabletop Supplements
