Help Australia’s Bushfire Victims

Tax deductible

**Update** - 11th Jan - On our first trip back to Burrawang, we managed to salvage a few items - notably and amazingly the water colour of the trout (now called smoked trout) which survived the blaze and was spotted still hanging on the wall. The residual items that survived can be seen in the photo above on the wooden bench. I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of everyone who has contributed and will get in touch with as many of you as I can. However, we hope to continue to raise more for those affected by this catastrophe.

5th Jan - Sadly our beloved home, Burrawang, succumbed to the fires last night leaving only a shell. Fortunately no one was hurt and our family was safe in Sydney however, others (including wildlife) have not been so lucky. The above photo's were taken this morning showing the damage - with many others in the area sharing a similar if not worse fate.

I am hoping that we can join the effort to rebuild the community and you can help by donating any amount you can. I have picked the Salvation Army as they are on on the frontline assisting volunteer firefighters and those who have lost their homes and loved ones.

Please forward on to as many others as possible. Thank you all in advance.

Lots of love,
Laura Reid
