*Please help and pray for Arthur*

English/Portuguese (desça a página)  On August 31, 2016 the world was gifted with a newborn who would grow to be a miracle – a testament that strength and courage could be bottled up in one tiny body. That a heart that would have to work double the time a regular heart has to, would be filled with bravery – a refusal to give up. Arthur is that miracle. He was born with tetralogy of fallot. He has had 4 surgeries within less than a year at Sick Kids hospital. A month after he was discharged, he suffered cardiac arrest with an unknown cause. He went back to the hospital and spent another 8 months there. He has a brain injury due to lack of oxygen during the cardiac arrest. He is seeing a physiotherapist, occupational therapist and vision specialist to help with his development. He takes 8 different medications and is on a special feed that comes from The United States. Arthur lost his vision, voice and most of his movements but we have faith that he will continue to improve. Despite Arthur’s vocal chords being scratched from the breathing tubes, this little boy has an inner voice that’s screaming to come out. Today Arthur is 2 years old. As parents we would do anything to improve his quality of life. This is where we ask for your help with that. We only dream of hoping he can receive stem cell treatment.  With your help, Arthur can see our faces one day. He can run until he gets tired. He can talk until he runs out of words to say. He can eat by mouth until his tummy is full. These are the things we daydream of and know are so close we can feel it in our bones. This treatment may very well be the answer to our prayers – to give Arthur the life he needs and deserves. So Arthur, we proudly and humbly share your inspiring life story until one day you are ready to share it yourself – for We believe in miracles. Asking for your help it's not a comfortable situation  but we would do anything for our son, if we had to walk to Mexico for this treatment  with him we would!! Em 31 de agosto de 2016, o mundo foi presenteado com um recém-nascido que se tornaria um milagre - um testemunho de que a força e a coragem estariam em um corpo minúsculo. Esse coração teria que trabalhar o dobro do tempo que um coração normal, se recusando a desistir. Arthur é esse milagre! Ele nasceu com tetralogia de Fallot. Teve 4 cirurgias em menos de um ano no hospital Sick Kids me Toronto, Canada. Um mês depois de ter alta, ele sofreu uma parada cardíaca com uma causa desconhecida. Ele voltou para o hospital e passou mais 8 meses lá. Ele tem uma lesão cerebral devido à falta de oxigênio durante a parada cardíaca. O Arthur é acompanhado de profissionais como fisioterapeuta, terapeuta ocupacional e especialista em visão para ajudar no seu desenvolvimento. Ele toma 8 medicamentos diferentes e está em uma alimentação especial que vem dos Estados Unidos. Arthur perdeu sua visão, voz e a maioria de seus movimentos, mas nós temos fé que ele continuará a melhorar. Apesar das cordas vocais do Arthur tem sido arranhadas pelos tubos de respiração, este menino tem uma voz interior que está gritando para sair desse corpo. Hoje, Arthur tem 2 anos de idade. Como pais, faríamos qualquer coisa para melhorar sua qualidade de vida. É aqui que pedimos a sua ajuda com isso. Nós apenas sonhamos com que ele possa fazer esse tratamento de células-tronco no México . Com sua ajuda, o Arthur poderá ver nossos rostos um dia. Ele poderá correr até se cansar. Ele poderá falar até ficar sem palavras. Ele poderá comer via oral até sua barriga ficar cheia. Sonhamos com isso e temos fé de que Deus irá permitir. Esse tratamento pode muito bem ser a resposta para nossas preces - dar ao Arthur a vida que ele precisa e merece. Então Arthur, nós orgulhosamente e humildemente compartilhamos sua história de vida inspiradora até que um dia você estará pronto para compartilhar com todos por si próprio - pois acreditamos em milagres. Pedindo a sua ajuda, não é uma situação confortável, mas faríamos qualquer coisa por nosso filho. Se tivéssemos que caminhar com ele nos braços até o México para esse tratamento, nós faríamos !!
