ARISTRONG (Ari Villalobos)

“We are blessed to bless others.”

On October 8, 2018, Arianna Villalobos found out she had a brain tumor. Ari had been experiencing headaches and eye pain for a few weeks but being the fighter she is, she pushed through the discomfort, continued to play soccer and excel academically. Ari is a 14 year old freshman at Grand Terrace High School. She LOVES playing soccer and has big dreams for the future. She fell in love with the sport at the age of 3 and has been playing ever since. Despite her beastly demeanor on the soccer field, Ari is a young God fearing lady who knows who she is in Christ. She has such a pure, beautiful, generous and sensitive spirit she would do anything to help anyone. At the age of 10 Ari decided to cut her long curly locks to donate it to children with cancer. She’s the kid that wrapped up her own toys to give to her cousins for their birthdays. She is our angel!

Doctors found a brain tumor the size of a tangerine smack dab in the middle of her brain. The tumor is lying on both hemispheres and is attached to blood vessels making it impossible to be surgically removed at this time. So far, Ari has undergone 3 surgical procedures within one week. At this time, we still don’t have the biopsy results however, doctors say chemo and/or radiation is the only treatment that can shrink and eliminate the tumor. It is expected that Ari remain in the hospital during treatment.

Ari’s daddy, Chris is the sole provider for the family and has been out of work since the day they received the heart breaking news. Nikki and Chris have not left their baby girl’s side. They have been living at the hospital and plan on continuing to do so until Ari recovers. The family is expecting thousands of dollars in medical bills after all is said and done. Bills that the insurance does not cover. That’s where we, family and friends come together in love and faith in God to not only help Ari terminate the tumor but to help the Villalobos family recover financially. We believe we are blessed to bless others so we thank you in advance for your donation, love, and prayers. May our good Lord in Heaven bless you abundantly.

Love,
Valverde, Cruz and Villalobos Families

UPDATE as of Oct. 19:
Pathology report concluded that the tumor is Glioblastoma Stage 4. However, we as a family don’t believe the report of man, we believe the report of the Lord. We will continue to stand on God’s promises and believe by faith that the tumor will be terminated and Ari will live to testify the grace and glory of God... and play soccer! Please stand in unity and faith with us as we claim that healing and ask for strength for Ari and her family. Supernatural strength and comfort for her parents Chris and Nikki in the name of Jesus. These two are ALWAYS putting their lives aside to help others, whether it be family, friends, church family, or strangers on the street. God bless them.

Update as of 8/15/19:
Unfortunately the limited treatment options available to Ari during this journey have not been successful, but Ari is still fighting the fight. She says it ain’t over til God says it’s over! She’s at home and is under 24 hour care. Her parents Nikki and Chris continue to be her primary care givers, along with the support of Ari’s grandparents, aunts and uncles. Although Chris continues to work, the one income is not enough to cover the bills for hospital stays, treatment/doctors visits, and medical equipment that continue to roll in. Your donations will help cover these costs and will also help Ari’s vision come to life. Ari would like to start a foundation to help families in the same position. It is her vision to help victims of childhood cancer and their families with monetary, personal, and spiritual support. The ARISTRONG foundation is being developed and by the grace of God will bring hope to people and glory to the Most High. Thank you for your continued support and prayers! May God bless you as you have blessed us!
