Help Anti-Bullying Student Go To DC

My name is William Clarizio. I’m eighteen years old and a college freshman at Case Western Reserve University. Recently an organization I work with called NVEEE was invited to attend anti bullying week in mid November in Washington DC. We will hold a rally at a local school, host a celebrity event and have brunch at the White House. This is an incredible opportunity and I need to raise the funds for my plane ticket, food, hotel and all other expenses within the next couple of weeks.
In my freshmen year of high school I met Jowharah Sanders, the founder of NVEEE (National Voices for Equality, Education and Enlightenment). NVEEE is a bullying and suicide prevention organization that I quickly became very dedicated to.
In 2014, I had a major role in the founding a leadership conference for 100 high school students known as PALS (Peace Ambassador Leadership Summit). The summit serves to provide a place for all students including those who have either witnessed or experienced bullying at any point in their lives to expand their leadership and social skills, positive self-esteem and most importantly practice showing empathy, tolerance, and respect for others. I have continued to be a staff member at PALS every year. Last year, I was promoted from Junior to Senior Staff for exceptional leadership in my role and for my assistance in facilitating the conference. I also served as Treasurer and Fundraising Chair of NVEEE’s Youth Advisory Council and helped to plan other events and summits. The leaders of NVEEE saw a lot of potential in me and motivated me to follow my dreams and invest in my passions.
NVEEE's mission is great and as a part of it, I want to help as many people as possible which means I go for every opportunity I can find to get the word out. Being invited to The White House is my greatest opportunity yet and will be life changing for me and I would be very thankful for those helping me raise the funds.
