Help Althea Fight 5th Round Of Cancer

My dear cousin Althea has unfortunately received her 5th cancer diagnosis after fighting numerous battles and victories that have been short lived. Althea is currently 46 years old and had move from Jamaica to live in Canada with her family. She is a loving and supportive wife and mother of three young children and a dear friend to many. She was 1st diagnosed in June 2014 with a triple negative breast cancer. She did a mastectomy with 3 months of chemotherapy and successfully recovered. Her 2nd diagnosis was in October 2015 where she underwent surgery and 25 rounds of radiation, which ended February 2016, her 3rd diagnosis was in May 2017 and again she underwent surgery. Her 4th diagnosis was in August 2017 and she underwent surgery. Althea is now facing her 5th diagnosis and is ready to fight even harder than before. The cancer has now spread to the lymph nodes, bones and lungs.
Her continued encounter with cancer has depleted her not only emotionally but financially as well. She therefore is in urgent need of assistance to raise funds to seek alternative treatments at a private clinic. This will cost at least $20,000. Her family is facing a tremendous challenge in finding the funds to cover her treatment. Althea has been unable to work due to her illness. Her benefits have run out and the medical bills are piling up. Her husband is currently the only income earner and they have been faced with the challenges of covering her medical expenses along with raising 3 children (the eldest has just started University and 2 younger children under the age of 13).
For those of you who know her, know that she is an extraordinary human being. She is one of the strongest, most selfless person I’ve known and she is always willing to give support. She’s been a great mentor, a problem solver and most of all; she’s a resilient fighter.
Let’s come together and send back some of that love and support to Althea. I am asking you to kindly assist and help my cousin fight by making a donation so that she can access treatment.
