Help Alexis Pope with Tuition Costs

Hello Family and FaceBook friends: Many of you know that my daughter, Alexis, is in her Sophomore year of college at Norfolk State University, studying Political Science to become an Attorney. I am extremely proud of her because she has been on top of her game the entire time with her classes, has been consistent with doing her homework and various math and science labs, which has resulted in her getting great grades because of her diligence. Unfortunately, she received notification last week that she did not receive enough financial aid to cover her Spring Semester, which began last Tuesday. We have until this Friday to come up with $5,149.00 to cover the balance of her housing cost and meal plan, or she will be asked to move out of her dorm room, leave campus, and all of her classes will be dropped as of 3:00 p.m. this Friday. I've asked if the meal plan can be eliminated, but the school says it cannot. Both she and I have tried to get loans to cover this amount over the past week, but because I graduated less than three years ago and have accumulated student loan debt myself, I have not been able to secure a loan to keep her in school. The payment plan they've offered is three payments of $1,716.00, which I will need to pay by this Friday as well if we go that route. So...I am humbly asking for the help of my family and friends for any donation that you can possibly give to help Alexis remain in school to finish this semester. Whatever the Lord lays on your heart to bless her with, we greatly appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
