Help Alex Beat Sarcoma Cancer
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kathy Cotterill and I am asking friends, family and the world to help my nephew Alex Clarke fight Spindle Cell Sarcoma. Alex’s tumor is in his left hip where the ball of the femur and hip connect.
Two years ago, Alex was a healthy 26-year-old hard working, strong young man. Last year Alex had soreness on his hip which progressed until April when his femur broke and he was diagnosed. Today he is recovering from his 6th round of inpatient, week long Chemo treatments, in preparation for surgery in September at the University of Washington.
During surgery Alex’s left hip will be replaced. His left femur will be removed and replaced by a prosthetist. After surgery there will be 6 to 8 weeks of radiation and then the physical therapy can begin.
It will be quite some time before this awesome and courageous young man will be able to walk let alone work. The funds that will be collected will go towards his bills and living expenses.
Thanks, anything helps!
