Help Aiden Fight Leukemia

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this, but my good friend Tara has received the news no one wants to hear. Aiden, her 4-year-old son was diagnosed with Leukemia.
He has always been your typical, healthy, fun-loving boy. He loves playing outside, going on adventures and has the biggest heart for all animals!
Recently Aiden had been very lethargic and Tara had been fighting with doctors to figure out what was going on. Finally, a blood test followed by a bonemarrow biopsy confirmed a parent’s worst nightmare. Aiden has Leukemia.
Aiden has been in the hospital since May 25th and will be there until the first week of June. He will be in treatment for the next 4 years with extended stays at the hospital throughout his treatment. He will also need to be homeschooled for at least a year.
Tara is still in disbelief. Trying to juggle holding her son for hours after traumatic procedures, meeting with social workers to help prepare them for the immediate future, trying to explain to her four year old he has cancer, and trying to find housing close to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
I am asking humbly for you to help Aiden’s family cover their expenses during this difficult time, including the costs to cover treatment over the next few years, rent, bills, etc. Aiden will need a lot of love and attention through this so he can face this like the brave little man he is. This is why we need your help! If you can give any donation, monetary or otherwise, or know of housing close to Children’s Hospital, it would mean the world to a little boy and his family.
