HELP A VIET NAM VETERAN
Donation protected
This man is a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He spent his young adult years in a foreign country fighting for freedom for all Americans. Having gone through terrible circumstances and seeing things that would leave even the hardest individual with nightmares. By the grace of God he returned home, but he was never the same as the young man that went off to war.
He had severe PTSD, at that time the VA did not recognize this disease. He sought help from the VA for many years before they finally recognized his disease.
He has been diagnosed with lung cancer due to being sprayed with agent orange while serving in Viet Nam. He also had another type of cancer a few years ago also due to agent orange.
We have been trying to get the VA to provide him with an adjustable bed, not a hospital bed, an adjustable. Also a portable oxygen concentrator. The VA says they do not supply those things. We are not financially able to purchase these two things.
These things are essential for him to have a normal life and be able to breathe. The oxygen tanks that he now carries are not reliable and he has been left without oxygen at times.
When someone suggested Go Fund Me I was a little apprehensive, but when I watch him struggle to breathe I decided to try to help him.
Thank you in advance for your help.
They said to say how soon we needed these things. We need them as soon as we can get them, we have been trying to obtain them for quite some time.
