Help a terminally ill child return to her homeland

Donation protected
Prasisa is an 8-year-old Nepali girl who was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor in October 2018.

Her family emigrated from Nepal to the United States last autumn. Her parents won an immigration lottery and brought Prasisa and her brother (older by just 1 year) across the Pacific to begin their new life. They had been here in California for only 3 weeks before receiving a devastating diagnosis. Their daughter had a terminal brain tumor (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma or DIPG).

Now she is facing the end of her life with weeks not months left to her life. Her parents desperately want to bring her home so she can say goodbye to her grandparents, relatives, and community in Nepal. Prasisa misses her extended family and her home. She would love to see them one last time.

Money you provide will go towards the family traveling back to Nepal, as well as expenses that the family will incur both here in California (they are trying to be in Nepal for 3 months and will need to cover rent back in California so they do not lose their apartment) and expenses they will incur in Nepal as they get Prasisa palliative care back home (nursing care). They will also need to pay for funeral expenses.
