IMAGINE LOSING ALL THE FOOD IN YOUR FRIDGE/FREEZER and not being able to replace it...

My dear friend, a retired pensioner near Carmarthen Wales,  Mr. Dave Clark, had the unfortunate luck to have his fridge/freezer die an untimely death and take with it all his frozen & perishable food.  Due to living in the middle of nowhere on a fixed income, he has no way to replace either the fridge/freezer or the food, or even pay for a repairman to fix the broken appliance (if that is even possible, which it may not be).  I was able to procure Mr. Clark a used-but-working fridge/freezer found on Freecycle, but he has got neither a vehicle large enough to transport it nor able-bodied friends to assist with the needed manpower to collect it.

Carmarthen Council cannot-or-will not help him, and claim they have no funding to remedy such household emergencies.  Mr. Clark has been in this predicament for over 2 weeks.  I sent him a small funds transfer through PayPal to prevent him starving to death, but I am jobhunting myself and have not got the funds needed to solve this problem alone. So it is with heartfelt gratitude and thanks in advance, I am asking the public to put themselves in his shoes, and HELP ME HELP HIM.  Please consider donating whatever small amount you can spare to help someone legitimately less fortunate than yourself.  You would truly be taking part in a blessing :-)
