Help A Hero Battle Cancer

Deputy Robert (Matt) Lynn is a 16 year veteran of the Pima County Sheriff's Department and a relentless defender of the Thin Blue Line. Matt has served his community with the utmost professionalism, dedication, and integrity and has undoubtedly saved countless lives along the way. As a defensive tactics instructor, Matt has spent his career teaching new Deputy and Correction Officer recruits how to defend themselves and protect others. Additionally, Matt spent time as a Detective with the Mental Health Support Team and has spent numerous hours teaching officers how to recognize and deal with those experiencing a mental health crisis. Matt equipped hundreds of officers with the necessary tools to safely and effectively protect their community. Matt is an All-Star Dad and spends his free time coaching and assisting with his kids' baseball and softball. He truly teaches these young athletes to be better human beings!

Though Matt is aptly capable of handling anything life throws his way, he is in need of backup during his fight against cancer. Recently, Matt was diagnosed with stage IV Hodgkin's Lymphoma and he will spend several months undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment. Matt and his wife will be missing numerous days of work during his treatment and will need financial assistance in continuing to support their family of four during this time. All funds raised will be given directly to Matt and his family to assist with medical bills and to offset lost work opportunities during Matt's fight against cancer.
