Hello everyone. My name is Julie and I am friends with Sophie Chenier and Marco Laviolette whom just had a beautiful baby girl on Nov 19 th. Angele Julie Laviolette was born by emergency c-section 6 weeks before her actual due date. She is at Cheo and is doing ok so far. The amazing staff there are keeping a close eye on her!
Sophie is recovering well aNd is now home. However Angele Did not come home with mom and dad.
She will need monitoring and surgeries and will remain in cheo for an extended period of time.
Angele was born with Dextrocardia this is a rare heart condition in which your heart points toward the right side of your chest instead of the left side.
She was also born with Situs inversus. With it, many or all of your visceral organs are on the mirror-image side of your body. For example, in addition to your heart, your liver, spleen, or other organs may also be located on the opposite, or “wrong” side of your body.
Also this little one was born with atrioventricular septal defect, this condition occurs when there's a hole between the heart's chambers and problems with the valves that regulate blood flow in the heart. They believe this can be repaired with heart surgery.
Because Sophie and Marco will need to drive back and forth from home to hospital daily. There will be many costs involved. With gas to get there and back, parking at 13$ a day, missed work, cost of food for them to eat while visiting, care cost for her other child , as she can’t drive she might have to pay for rides to get there when no one is around and to help with every day needs . I am asking for your help on raising a little money to help them out so they don't need to stress any more then they already are, and that they can just be able to be with theirs little one without worry.
