Help a developer in need

Most of you will know me as a mod developer for a number of mods for Sins of a solar empire. I am the team lead of that project and right now I could use the help of the community.

Back in November 2017 I got a raise at work, because of this raise at the end of the year the government is asking back 2527 euros back in taxes i received without being eligible, I do not have the funds to pay them back at this time and I am at a loss. 

If you the community could find it in your heart to help me out I would be very grateful.
