Rod needs a Life changing operation

Rod has Parkinson's Disease and we need your help.
Rod is also the sound & lighting tech for our band "No Soup 4 U"...it's his "other" love in life and nobody puts more into his craft than our dear friend has over the last couple of years.
Recently Rod has struggled with the simple duties of adjusting sound and the like and it breaks our hearts to see him wrestling with this affliction.
Rod was diagnosed with PD (Parkinson's Disease) 5 years ago and since we have known him, he has never complained "ONCE" about his illness or let it get in the way of what he loves to do...until recently!
PD has rapidly and recently decreased Rod's quality of life. It has advanced so rapidly that the simple things like evening walks with his wife can no longer be enjoyed the same way without deep thought and effort (if at all).
The deterioration in Rod's health has now necessitated the need for "Deep Brain Stimulation" surgery to help give some quality life back...and as if Rod doesn't need more to be worried about already...he will be around $30,000 out of pocket at the end of the day.
Rod needs this surgery urgently!!
He has no choice other than to witness it slowly and totally destroying his life...but as he put it to me..."I'm more concerned about it destroying my families life!"...you see Rod is more concerned about the effect it will have on his family than himself...such is the beautiful nature of this man!
Surgery is set for late November 2018.
Rod has had no part in asking for...or setting up this page...he would never think to ask others to help him financially, but his friends (old & new) who love him and admire his tenacity and "never complain" personality just can't help but ask you...please support Rod at any level you can and donate today.
