Help 6th Grade Kids Go To Camp!!!

The 6th graders at my son’s school are eligible to go to a science camp in the local mountains where they spend two nights and experience activities many of these kids would otherwise never be able to do. For example, they get to ride horses, canoe and try archery, along with the outdoor-science part of the excursion.
I was told that many of the approximately 102 students are sadly unable to reach the individual cost to attend and, hence, those children are left behind. Some of these young kids are able to raise part of what is needed, but in the end cannot fulfill the entire requirement and have to also forgo attending, against their best efforts. Other families might have been able to meet the $210 individual child cost, but then would not be able to buy their children the items, such as winter clothes, that are needed and so they end up not going also. Though the school itself does hold some fundraisers, from what I have personally seen in years past, that doesn’t always work for many children either.
Anyhow, upon learning that some kids end up unable to go to have such a fun and educational experience just because life circumstances have made it so they can’t afford it, breaks my heart. So, since I cannot do too much by myself, I decided to start this campaign to see if others could help out.
Every penny received by this campaign here will be delivered to the school anonymously by me. I shall keep absolutely nothing! It will be earmarked specifically for the science camp this school year and the school itself will disperse it to those who need the help.
The 6th grade goes to the science camp in late January 2018 and the school is already accepting payments. Therefore, I wanted to get this moving immediately to see if we can get these kids some help. I have only set the goal for $6,500 which is much less than paying for everyone, BUT the idea is to help those who need that extra push to get to the $210 per student total and, hopefully, allow more, if not all, the kids to go.
