Help 2 year old Charlie Redden beat Cancer

Sweet little Charlie was diagnosed April 10th with high risk neuroblastoma cancer. The IWK see 1-2 cases per year from the Maritimes. Charlie is a sweet, funny, outgoing little girl who is now faced with the challenge of a lifetime, beat cancer at just 2 years old.
It’s been five weeks since Charlie’s diagnosis. She has had biopsies, a central line put in her chest, an ng tube for medications and one round of Chemotherapy. Charlie developed a condition following Chemo and was taken by ambulance for treatment and another week long hospitalization.
Charlie has another round of Chemotherapy this month and a trip to Toronto Sick Kids Hospital for further treatment early next month.
Ben and Lisa (Parker) Redden, Charlie’s parents, are private, hardworking people. Charlie has an almost four year old brother “little Ben” at home who needs her to get better.
Charlie’s treatment is an 18 month process with multiple rounds of chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, radiation, multiple trips to Toronto and weeks of hospitalization. It includes medication and equipment that aren’t covered by insurance. Lisa is off work and Ben, who is self employed has worked when he can but also needs to be there for his wife, and daughter. One Toronto trip alone is expected to be ten weeks long. We need to come together as a community to support them. You might not know Charlie but she is a loved little girl. You might know her grandparents Jackie & Lawrence Parker, Laurie Stone and Tim & Robyn Redden. Please help this family and give what you can. The last thing they need to worry about is finances.
