HELL NO, Tornillo!

THIS IS TO FUND A PROTEST OF THE TORNILLO TENT CITY.
All funds not used for the protest will be donated to RAICES , is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in Texas.

Friends,
I know you are as outraged as I am with the administration’s policy of forcibly separating parents and children (ehem....kidnapping??). I am planning to protest the Tornillo Tent City, which is a tent camp specifically for kids who have been forcibly separated from their parents. It will house approximately 400 children. The tent city is set to open soon. I would like to take a stand and not let this happen in silence. To that end, I plan to fly to El Paso and protest outside the tent city, which is only 40 minutes from El Paso. I too have children and a job so I don’t plan on going for too long. Fly Friday July 6th and return Sunday the 8th, with the protest on July 7th.
Who can come with me?? If enough people come, we could have it be a whole thing with speakers, chants, all those things, but I’ll be there even if it’s just me with a sign.
