Keeping People Warm

There were105,000 homeless people on the Census night in 2011, In Australia. This is a very sad and confronting amount of people. Ashton, Sarah and I have a goal to raise enough money to buy 40 sleeping bags which are specifically designed for homeless people by mid April this year. We need $4000.00 to make this happen. The sleeping bags are around $90.00 each. I intially called and offered to do a blanket drive. I was advised that this would not be ideal as blankets are too heavy to carry around and are left behined. The sleeping bags are light weight and are designed like a backpack. We are donating these sleeping bags to the Newcastle Night Angels which is a homeless aid group in Newcastle, who are out most nights through the week giving out food and supplies. Please help us to reach this goal and keep at least 40 people warmer this Winter. Ashton, Sarah and I thank you all in advance for your support and encouragement.
