Genetic Dental Deterioration! HELP!

Good News Received.............. After a long battle I have made progress. My story just went long and complicated to simple and easy. I recently was rushed to the ER by ambulance, I presented signs of a heart attack, thank god this was not the case. What happened was this. As you can imagine dental deterioration is very painful. Teeth soften, break and decay. Id been suffering such intense pain my body had an extreme panic attack. I ended up in extreme pain on my whole right side of my body followed by an ice cold feeling then came the numbness. I had a spike in my fever and the feeling of my head exploding(for lack of better words). I spent the day in the in ER then was sent home with pain meds and antianxiety medication.
Following this trip to the ER I saw my primary care physician where I was diagnosed with depression, extreme anxiety, and anorexia all directly associated with my dental deterioration and pain. I now have a therapist I see to manage this new diagnosis of anxiety and panic attacks. I guess my body has had enough and telling me it needs help.
Well I’m getting the help. Due to the medical complication my dental deterioration is causing I have been classified and medically necessary which means Denti-Cal will pay the have the work done. YAY finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. They will extract 3 wisdom teeth, a number of molar extractions, root canals, fillings, crowns, bridges, gum disease treatments and more.
Great news right. But there is still one hurtle to overcome. I will be able to go into surgery in 4 to 6 weeks. Although denti-cal will pay for the restorative work, the dental clinic will not do the work unless I am fully sedated. This will be a 5 to 8 hour procedures with a total of 4 dental specialist doing the work. Denti-cal will not cover sedation coverage for anyone over the age of 21 or those who have mental problems that prevent them from safely receiving dental work.
So dental-Cal will cover the $60,000 worth of work needed, but will not cover the sedation. Due to my extreme anxiety in the dental chair they say it would be a liability to do the amount of work while I’m conscious. So in an effort to make sure I make my 4 to 6 week surgery date I will pay the sedation fee’s out of pocket. I will be receiving a discounted rate on sedation fee’s due to the fact iv been left unable to work and live off of state assistance.
My procedure will be performed at Hyland Hospital in Oakland California. They are an emergency clinic for those who are uninsured or low income. They work on a sliding scale basis. Iv been quoted $1600 for sedation. So far I have raised $150 via go fund me, and an extra $100 from my previous foster father. I am working on selling all my valuables and hosting garage sales and selling at flee markets to help raise this money.
I hate asking for help but as my surgery date is fast approaching I need to ensure I make payment 2 weeks prior to surgery. This is an updated amount. I originally created my campaign for $20,000 which I was quoted for dental work in Mexico. As I have achieved medical clearance and the work will be paid for I have edited the amount I need help with. I would never ask for more than what is necessary. Since my dental treatment will be covered via denti-cal all I need assistance with is the sedation portion. As soon as I can pay the sedation fee’s I can move forward with treatment. Its been ten years of waiting and searching for help.
They say changing your go fund me campaign may look bad, but the way I see it, I still need a bit of assistance but with the updates in my case I no longer need the huge amount I started asking for and I will not continue to ask for that amount of money if it’s not needed at this point. I’m an honest woman and will always be upfront. There are so many people right now who need help I would never take that much needed help from anyone who truly needs it. Iv gone from needing $64,000 in the states to $20,000 in Mexico to $1600 for sedation. Iv spent years now trying to get this taken care and I now have success.
Please help me get out of pain so I can become the mother I need to be for my children. So I can work and provide for my children and get off public assistance. I start school in less than two weeks to go into the medical field. I want to work in hospice care and be a helping hand to those who are struggling medically.
