I am working to train as close to full time in Olympic Weightlifting as possible, with hopes of making Team USA for Tokyo 2020.
Upcoming for me is the American Open Dec 10 2016- one of two national meets held in the US per year, with qualification totals required to compete. National meets are very important because I get the opportunity to compete against the rest of the top females in the US. Last year, I finished 5th at the American Open and that performance qualified me for the first round of trials for RIO 2016. It is my goal to continue improving in national meets to be able to compete at the World level. However when traveling to compete, often the essential costs of travel can become an additional strain on top of preparing to perform at your best the day of competition. Any help towards these essential travel costs will make it a little easier to focus on the primary task. Thank you sincerely in advance!
